Selepas berakhirnya Konspirasi Keamanan (1a), Orang Tua-Tua (Elder) telah memutuskan apabila daun maple Jepun pertama yang jatuh menyentuh air pada musim luruh (1b) di Tasik Towada (2), Decendant (Keturunan) yang ada akan dipanggil untuk melalui pengembaraan yang mengubah kehidupan mereka.

Pepohon maple Jepun dibawakan oleh golongan Elder untuk mengingatkan kita akan keindahan dan ciri-ciri signifikannya. Keupayaannya untuk bersesuaian dengan keadaan, keutuhan dan sifatnya yang damai merupakan antara ciri-ciri yang diharapkan pemimpin bijaksana itu dapat dipelajari dunia.

Perpaduan, kesaksamaan dan keamanan telah terpahat di minda Elder sejak awal. Mereka mahukan dunia memahami dan menerima ketiga-tiga idea ini untuk mewujudkan sebuah kehidupan yang harmoni.

Kini tiba masanya untuk nenek moyang ini membenarkan penampilan generasi baharu, The Descendant. The Descendant, sebagai cabang teguh pepohon yang aman ini, akan tersebut tumbuh dan meneroka ruang baharu seiring dengan perkembangan masa. Tugas mencabar untuk membawakan perpaduan, kesaksamaan dan keamanan ke dunia ini akan menguji The Descendant apabila mereka menyedari bahawa transformasi dalaman diri yang akan membenarkan mereka mengubah dunia.

Dengan Elder menjaga Tasik Towada, mereka kini melihat keindahan pepohon maple Jepun kini memenuhi tanah yang sebelum ini kosong. Perluasan dan pertumbuhan The Descendant pada suatu hari akan mewujudkan sebuah dunia yang seindah landskap Tasik Towada.

Pertunjukan Fesyen BIANCO MIMOSA di International Fashion Week Dubai Bakal Cipta Sejarah Tersendiri

Tahniah buat jenama fesyen terkenal, Bianco Mimosa yang bakal melakar sejarah mengangkat nama Malaysia di mata dunia apabila dijemput untuk memperagakan koleksi terbaru di International Fashion Week Dubai (IFWD) yang akan berlangsung 20 hingga 21 Oktober ini.

Jenama fesyen couture ini akan membawakan 18 koleksi fesyen khas yang terdiri daripada 10 fesyen yang berkonsepkan Tongkang Yard dan 8 fesyen Abaya. Bianco Mimosa akan mengetengahkan konsep Malaysia dengan membawa imej tempat kelahirannya sendiri, Tongkang Yard, yang terletak di Ipoh Kedah.

Pastinya ini satu pengiktirafan yang bermakna kerana agak jarang untuk pereka dari Malaysia diberi peluang untuk menyertai pertunjukan fesyen bertaraf antarabangsa. Tonton video lanjut di saluran Youtube Budiey.com:

Budiey berkesempatan untuk hadir di sidang media yang diadakan di Pusat Komersil TSB Sungai Buloh untuk mengumumkan tentang berita yang seharusnya kita banggakan ini.

Menurut pengasasnya, Datuk Ida Suraya Mustafa berkata, beliau merupakan pereka fesyen pertama Malaysia yang berpeluang menyertai pertunjukan di IFWD  dan berkongsi pentas bersama pereka tersohor dunia. Koleksi fesyen ini akan diperagakan Miss Universal 2017.

“Ia satu pengiktirafan yang besar buat saya kerana diberi peluang untuk menyertai pertunjukan fesyen di Dubai yang bertaraf antarabangsa.

“Penganjur begitu bersungguh-sungguh mahukan saya menyertai pertunjukan fesyen ini dan memberi kepercayaan untuk menjayakan sesi pembukaannya,”

Ida Suraya berkata, sesi pembukaan fesyen itu melibatkan lebih banyak pertunjukan dan Bianco Mimosa akan membawakan 18 koleksi fesyen khas yang terdiri daripada 10 fesyen yang berkonsepkan Tongkang Yard dan 8 fesyen Abaya.

Katanya, Bianco Mimosa akan mengetengahkan konsep Malaysia dengan membawa imej tempat kelahirannya sendiri, Tongkang Yard, yang terletak di Ipoh Kedah.

“Oleh kerana kekangan masa, saya hanya mampu siapkan 10 koleksi utama. Saya ambil pengalaman zaman kanak-kanak ketika membesar di Tongkang Yard sebagai ilham pertunjukan fesyen kali ini. Saya ambil kira suasana kampung ketika itu dan aktiviti yang menjadi tradisi seperti bermain wau dan sampan yang semakin ketinggalan hari ini. Saya ingin mengembalikan memori dulu di pentas antarabangsa sekali gus mengetengahkan budaya Malaysia,”

Menurutnya, beliau memperuntukkan kos sehingga RM100,000 untuk menyiapkan kesemua rekaan dan kualiti fabrik tetap menjadi keutamaan Bianco Mimosa dalam mengetengahkan fesyen.

Katanya, fabrik yang digunakan ialah 100 peratus silk dan dari Itali.

“Itulah identiti Bianco Mimosa. Bukan sekadar memperagakan fesyen tetapi turut memperkenalkan fabrik berkualiti.

“Saya harap dengan penyertaan kali ini, ia dapat mengetengahkan lagi jenama Bianco Mimosa selain buka peluang kepada ramai pereka tempatan teroka pasaran fesyen di Dubai,” katanya yang merancang membuka butik di negara itu.

Selain Bianco Mimosa, jenama fesyen yang kian meningkat, Dache akan turut menjayakan pertunjukan fesyen di IFWD.

Pengasasnya, Yadz Haryati Harudin berkata, Dache akan bawa konsep Rangoli Moden yang terkenal di kalangan masyarakat India dengan 10 rekaan fesyen dengan permainan warna menarik.

The façade of the store also has a LED screen that in addition to the logo, passes several different pictures and videos throughout the day.

Butik TARIK JEANS Kini Dibuka di Robinsons, The Gardens Mall, Kuala Lumpur

For its second outing at Malaysia’s premiere fashion event, the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2017 (KLFW2017), Tarik Jeans (Tarik) presents to you a collection entitled “Nusa Bencana”. The collection is inspired by an ancient geographical entity called Suvarṇabhūmi, which means “Land of Gold” in Sanskrit. In old Malay text, it is referred to as “Nusa (land) Kencana (gold)”.

Nusa Kencana is commonly thought to refer to the Southeast Asian Peninsula, including lower Burma and the Malay Peninsula. However there is another gold-referring term Suvarnadvipa (the Golden Peninsula), which may correspond to the Indonesian Archipelago, especially Sumatra.

Both terms might refer to a powerful coastal or island kingdom in present-day Indonesia and Malaysia, possibly centered on Sumatra or Java. An eighth-century Indian text known as the “Samaraiccakaha” describes a sea voyage to Suvarnabhumi. This sea voyage pointed out to the direction of western part of insular Southeast Asia, especially Sumatra, Malay Peninsula, Southern Thailand, Borneo and Java.

Nusa Bencana (translated “Disaster Land”), is a word-play on an imaginary state alienated by the government, populated by rogues, outcasts, immigrants, refugees and those deemed to be estranged from the norm. The dragon has been chosen to represent Nusa Bencana.

Refered to as Nāga in Sanskrit, the word also means ‘deity’ or ‘class of entity’ found in the Indian religions and culture. Nagas are important players in many of the events narrated in the epic Mahabrata, sometimes evil and sometimes on the side of good. The epic frequently characterizes nagas as having a mixture of human and serpent-like traits.

Making its appearance in this KLFW2017 presentation are Tarik’s Type II Trucker Jacket, their updated Premium Slim Ramlee and Skinny Din jeans, the Mahmoud bootcut, the Type I Trucker Jacket in collaboration with Mihane Jeans from Indonesia, the 60 years Merdeka Slim Ramlee jeans in collaboration with Kronoz Denim, Nusa Bencana logo T-shirts, the ever popular Who’s Your Mamak varsity jacket version 2.0 and other one-off key pieces specially created for the show including batik shirts and tote bags made out of gunny sacks.

This year, Tarik also collaborated with Caterpillar (official shoe) joining other local brands that are friends of Tarik’s such as The Extra Piece and Maslea.

Established in 2010, Tarik’s sustainable denim line has been known to cater to those who appreciate craftsmanship and jeans that are capable to age beautifully (check out #tarikfades on Instagram). Their updated denim line has been getting rave reviews receiving attention from both the local and international media. Just this month, Tarik was nominated by Globetrekker Magazine as one of the best indie label in the region.

Retaining its rock-n-roll spirit, this collection stayed true to the aesthetics of Tarik’s debut collection named “Anak Liar” last year. A contributing factor is the brand’s close relationship with the country’s music fraternity and its penchant to dress rockstars and activists. Berkonsepkan Sweet dan Simple, WATIE Collections tampil dengan koleksi “Ready To Wear” terbaharu bertempat di Palace of Golden Horses, Seri Kembangan, pada 7 September yang lalu.

Memperkenalkan 10 koleksi “Ready To Wear”, jenama ini mengetengahkan rekaan yang lebih santai dan bersahaja. Selain itu juga, dengan pemilihan warna yang lembut dan fabrik yang tidak panas dan selesa dipakai bila-bila masa dan dimana jua/sahaja.

Nafas baru diberi dalam koleksi kali ini dan berbeza dengan rekaan “Ready To Wear” yang sedia ada.

Dalam peragaan fesyen tersebut, WATIE Collections turut memperkenalkan 10 rekaan eksklusif yang terbaru dengan membawa konsep “Evening Dress”. Rekaan kali ini mengekalkan elemen Simple dan tidak sarat dengan aksesori lain. Penggunaan material kain yang tidak tebal dan panas, memberikan si pemakai lebih selesa dan memberi lebih keyakinan kepada si pemakai.

Untuk World Fashion Week Malaysia, buat julung kalinya juga WATIE Collections menampilkan koleksi rekaan bagi lelaki. Memperkenalkan suit dan kemeja, jenama ini mengorak langkah dalam rekaan eksklusif untuk lelaki. Dengan pemilihan warna dan material kain yang selesa dan tidak panas adalah diutamakan untuk rekaan lelaki.
